SSC CGL Tier 1 Answer Key Highlights

On 3, October 2024 The Staff Selection Commission officially released the Answer Key Download link where candidates can check the response sheet by entering their login credentials and also calculate the final score by tally the correct and wrong answer marks.

SSC CGL TIER 1 Marking Scheme

To calculate the final marks using the answer key, candidates need to follow the marking scheme process where they calculate add, and deduct the marks according to correct answers.

There are a total of 100 questions and carry total of 200 marks. For Each right answer, the candidate will get 2 Marks. For Example, If candidate 1 Got 40 questions correct out of 100 the total marks will be 40*2 = 80 Marks.

Now after calculating the correct answer, candidates need to count the incorrect answers suppose Candidate 1 got 20 Wrong answers out of 100 so the marks will be deducted 20*0.5 = 10 Marks.

In the end, Minus the Negative marks to the total correct answers mark. In Candidate 1 Case : total score will be 80-10 = 70 Marks out of 200.

How to Download SSC CGL Answer key 2024?

The CGL Paper 1 Answer key – response sheet can only be downloaded from the official website of the Staff Selection Commission using their login details. Below you can follow to check all shift-wise answer key links and how to raise objection for any query:

2. On the Home Menu Fine -ANSWER KEY- Link
3. Under Answer key Notice board find “Uploading of Tentative Answer Keys along with Candidates’ Response Sheet(s) of Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I) – 2024” link
4. Login with your credentials
5. The response sheet will be displayed on your login dashboard
6. Download the Answer sheet and also challenge (If found anytime wrong)
7. Download the Tentative Answer Key PDF Using the Download button
8. Take the print of response sheet for future reference.

If candidates are unhappy with the answers or want to raise objections then the SSC also allow everyone that they raise objection online by paying Rs 100 for each question or query. 1. First of all log in to ssc.gov.in
2. After login users will get “Answer Key Challenge’” Option under “MY Application” section
3. A new “Challenge system” window will appear – Click on “CLICK HERE” Button
4. then click on login
5. Click on Proceed to pay and pay objection fees
6. Hit the Submit button
7. You will get confirm message ” YOUR CHALLANGE IS SUCCESSFULLY SUBMITTED“
